OUR HISTORY
IK Group traces its roots back to the late 1950s, when the IK Group began as a small-scale operation running expellers to crush groundnut oil. Over the decades, that modest beginning grew into one of South India's most respected names in edible oils.
OUR WAY
IK Group begins operations as a small-scale player, running expellers to crush pure groundnut oil. These early years instilled in us the core values of hard work and the importance of delivering pure, unadulterated products to our local community.
Recognizing the growing need for efficient oil production, the Group branched out into solvent extraction. In the late 1990s, we established our first solvent plant, IK Extractions, in Adoni. This move marked our transition into a modern industrial entity, allowing us to maximize oil recovery and support the agricultural ecosystem
We established IK Oils, our first dedicated refinery, along with a state-of-the-art packaging unit. This allowed us to bring high-quality refined oils directly to Indian kitchens under our own trusted brands.
To ensure the highest standards of raw material, IK Group launched a High-Tech Seed Crushing Plant in Adoni. This allowed us to take full control of our supply chain and establish direct linkages with farmers. We also established two more solvent extraction plants through Ranakpur Oils and Solvents Pvt Ltd and Sri Ramana Solvex Pvt Limited, further solidifying our position as a primary supplier of sunflower, groundnut, sesame, and mahua de-oiled cakes for the cattle, poultry and fisheries feed industries across India.
To meet rising demand and fulfill our mission of increasing healthy oil consumption, we doubled our refinery capacity. Today, we produce between 30,000 to 35,000 tons per annum, ensuring consistent supply without compromising on purity.
In 2022, IK Group entered the international arena by establishing a dedicated Trading Division. By importing crude edible oil, lecithin, and oil cakes from global hubs—including Argentina, Brazil, Russia, Ukraine, Africa, and Malaysia. This division has seen phenomenal growth, becoming a significant pillar of our group’s revenue and ensuring we bring the best of the world's oil to the Indian consumer.
Today — IK Group stands as an integrated edible oil business spanning extraction, refining, packaging, and distribution — built on six decades of trust, quality, and farmer partnerships. We combine international sourcing capabilities with a deep understanding of the Indian palate and health needs.
